Arizona Wine Festivals: What Makes Ours Different
Arizona’s festival season runs fall through spring, when the desert is comfortable enough to spend an afternoon outdoors. Most wineries here are small, family-run operations, which makes a festival the easiest place to meet the person who actually made the wine without driving out to the vineyard.
Our fruit grows in the Willcox Bench, southeast Arizona’s premier wine growing region, on an estate above 4,000 feet. Intense sun, cool nights and lean sandy loam that gives little away send the vines deep and give the fruit its balance. A festival pour is the quickest way to taste what that elevation does across our whole fleet, side by side, in an afternoon.
