Book Your Perfect Day in Willcox Wine Country

Somebody has to drive. That is the one flaw in a day of wine tasting, and it is usually solved by one person in the group missing out. Arizona Winery Tours solves it differently — they do the driving, and everybody tastes.

    The Short Version

    • A full day out with pickup and drop-off included, from Tucson or Phoenix
    • Three wineries, private tastings of five or six wines at each, lunch in the middle
    • No designated driver, so nobody in the group has to sit it out
    • They bring groups to our tasting room in downtown Willcox

    Tours That Reach Willcox

Soaring Wines Arizona high-altitude vineyard with Grape Vines, Blue Sky, Mountains And Hangar

Not every wine tour comes this far east. Two of theirs do.

The Willcox Wine Tour runs from Tucson and takes most of a day, visiting three Willcox-area vineyards and sending you home with a keepsake glass. It is the straightforward option if you are starting in Tucson.

Phoenix to Southern Arizona Wine Country is the longer version, built for people coming down from the Valley who would rather not spend seven hours of it behind the wheel.

Both are all-inclusive and booked online. Current pricing and dates are on their site.

    Why We Recommend Them

Arizona Winery Tours have spent more than a decade championing the growth of Arizona’s wine industry and connecting people with the wineries who make it.

From your side of it, they make visiting us effortless. No route to plan, no designated driver to nominate, no long drive home at the end of a day of tasting. You get picked up, and the day happens.

They bring groups to our tasting room, so we see first hand how their guests are looked after.

They are a family-owned Tucson business. When they marked their tenth anniversary in July 2026 with a multi-course dinner at the Garden Bistro at Tohono Chul in Tucson, they asked Soaring Wines to be the featured wine pairing partner — every course matched to one of our wines, with a vegetarian menu running alongside the standard one. Sixty-five people came out for it in the hottest part of a Tucson summer, which says something about the following they have built.

If you are putting a group together for a birthday, an anniversary or a weekend with friends, this is the easiest way to see several Willcox wineries in a day without anyone drawing the short straw.
